Davao City – OIC-Director Aerrine Marie R. Reyes gave a plenary session on The How-tos of Conciliation-Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms on March 29, 2019 in one of the biggest conferences hosted by IAM Training Services entitled “The Sixth Labor Relations and HR Management Summit” at the Big 8 Hotel, Tagum City.

This activity as stated by Ms. Evangeline Grace Agujo, Consulting Director of IAM Training Services enjoins HR and line managers to enhance their knowledge of workforce management through labor relations training.  Apart from administrative, day-to-day duties, the effective management of unions; negotiating with CBAs; and labor standards compliance, have become increasingly critical, strategic functions of LR practice.  The LR-HR professional needs to raise the bar of LR excellence in the country to respond to the mandate of being global.

Dir. Reyes shared the Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms which are the main programs of NCMB namelly Conciliation-mediation, Grievance Machinery and Voluntary Arbitration and Labor Management Cooperation to the participants that include HR Executives, HR Managers, HR Supervisors and Officers, HR Associates, HR generalists, Labor Relations practitioners, compensation and benefits practitioners, business owners/entrepreneurs, Labor Relations practitioners and line managers.
