Davao City – A total monetary estimate of 916,608.00 pesos will be awarded to the LBC Davao Employees Union – ADLO – KMU due to their successful negotiation with LBC EXPRESS-SEM, Inc.

Last March 11, 2020, LBC Davao Employee Union filed a notice of strike with 24 items declared as deadlock. Due to the pandemic, the Branch in compliance with DOLE Department Order No. 213, conducted the conciliation conferences and facilitation of the continued negotiations using mobile communication and Zoom, as agreed by the two parties. The Union was represented by its Local President Mr. Jeremy E. Culiao, along with six (6) other members, while LBC EXPRESS-SEM, Inc. were represented by its Regional Vice President, Mr. Cesar Atobagos, Jr., along with five (5) other members in their negotiating panel.

On August 12, 2020, after a series of joint and separate meetings, both parties mutually reached a truce and agreed to meet on or before 07 September 2020, at the plant-level, for the final drafting and signing of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

To date, RCMBXI has successfully settled three notices of strike and three preventive mediation cases amidst the pandemic and has currently no pending case. 

LBC DAVAO EMPLOYEES UNION (ADLO-KMU), is a legitimate labor organization located at LBC Hub 1, Km. 6, Lanang, Davao City. It has 132 (100 Male; 32 Female) union-members.
