Facilitates 5 LMCs and institutionalizes 5 GMs

this month of June


 The National Conciliation and Mediation Board, Regional Branch No. XI successfully facilitates plant-level programs of NCMB, labor management cooperation (LMC) and grievance machinery (GM) programs to five (5) different companies this month of June 2015.

This activity aims to promote the programs of NCMB as well as facilitate LMC and institutionalize GM in the company.  It also integrates Gender and Development (GAD) in LMC program and introduces guidelines of Single Entry Approach (SEnA) under DOLE.

NCMB-RBXI conducted a seminar entitled “Workplace Cooperation and Partnership” at Davao Oriental Electric Cooperative on June 14, 2018 at DORECO Board Room, Madang Highway, Brgy. Central, Mati City.


Mr. Gregory A. Dukil, CEO of DORECO emphasized that NCMB has helped a lot in the resolution of labor disputes.

“If other companies can set up LMC in their organization, then there is nothing wrong if we embrace it in our company,” Dukil stated.

DORECO previously attended two (2) area-wide seminars of the Association of Labor Management Cooperation Practitioners (ALMACOP), Davao Chapter which was held on February 9, 2018 entitled “LevelUp2018.1:  Learn More, Achieve More:  Levelling Up Industrial Peace” and on May 23, 2018 entitled LevelUp2018.2:  Learn More, Achieve More:  TRAIN Law, SSS Update and Data Privacy Act.  They also attended seminars in the past year.

Furthermore, the branch conducted the same undertaking on June 19, 2018 for two (2) cooperatives namely TAGCO Multipurpose Cooperative and TAGCO Consumers Cooperative which was held at Dolores Beach, Tagnanan, Mabini, Compostela Valley Province.


Tagnanan CARP Beneficiaries Cooperative (TCBC) is another cooperative with a huge membership of 395 that availed the same activity on June 26, 2018 at TCBC Conference Room, Tagnanan, Mabini, Compostela Valley.


These three cooperatives attended the area-wide seminar of ALMACOP, Davao Chapter on May 23, 2018.

“The area-wide seminars have contributed a lot why these companies opened their doors to NCMB”, Supervising LEO Nancy L. Lasquite concluded.

The following day, RCMB-XI team further conducted a seminar to ER Prime Maintenance Services, Inc. which was held at Hotel Vicente, F. Torres St., Davao City.


ER Prime Maintenance Services, Inc., a service contractor was provided with technical assistance by the branch through Single Entry Approach (SEnA).  The branch highlighted that LMC is a proactive mechanism to prevent any conflict to ripen into possible labor disputes.
