Lead Export & AGRO-Development Corporation (LEADC) entered a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with three employee associations (EA) last October 22, 2020 in Datu Abdul, Panabo City.
“Due to the pandemic, many company activities are postponed or suspended for the year. Thus, I was ecstatic when employee associations in Panabo City invited NCMB to witness their joint signing of their CBA with LEADC. Truly, the pandemic is never enough of a reason to skip on employee rights and benefits.” OIC-Director Aerrine Marie R. Reyes declares.
The three unions who signed the CBA were (1) Evergreen Farms Integrated Employees Workers Union., (2) Farmingtown AGRO – Developers Workers Union ALU-TUCP and (3) Delta Farms Workers Union (ALU-TUCP). “NCMB expresses our commendations to these EAs and to LEADC’s management for this well-done endeavor.” continues Reyes.
