Davao City – The Regional Branch conducted an enhancement webinar on Grievance Handling with Ateneo de Davao University-College Faculty Union (ADDU-CFU) last October 12, 2020.

The webinar focused on enhancing the existing Grievance Machinery (GM) of ADDU-CFU.  The activity commenced with a lecture on grievance handling, where the resource speaker, Conciliator-Mediator Rhium Truce Salvador, gave some tips on how the organization may implement their GM. Afterwards, the participants gained experience regarding the machinery in a role-playing workshop. The activity concluded with a reflection session and a cliniquing to better execute their GM.

“I commend the ADDU-CFU for orderly following the vital steps towards grievance machinery during our role-playing. They were able to follow their grievance procedure by referencing to their Collective Bargaining Agreement, iterated the necessity of a written complaint, and executed a well-done grievance interview. I hope that their actual execution of their Grievance Machinery will be excellently implemented” stated OIC-Director Aerrine Marie R. Reyes.

ADDU-CFU is located at Manuel Roxas Avenue, Davao City. The Union is headed by their President, Dr. Judith D. Dalagan, and employs 291 male workers and 528 female employees. Gary B. Bonghanoy
