Relishing “Zumba for a Cause” of Philippine Civil Service
and Health and Wellness Program
The branch relished the Civil Service Commission “Zumba for a Cause” together with other government offices on September 14, 2019 at 5:30 in the morning held at the parking area of SM City Davao, Ecoland.
This has become part of health and wellness program of the branch.
“We initiated a contest for the biggest loser, maintainer and biggest gainer. This is not just for the sake of competition but rather more of physical wellness of each personnel and staff,” OIC-Director Aerrine Marie Reyes stated.
Conciliator-mediator Oliver C. Jao, chairman on the program takes charge in monitoring the weight of each staff every month.
“We let each one choose the group which best suits him/her for physical wellness. We also awarded those who were able to lose, maintain or gain depending on the group he or she belongs. We also have sessions on Zumba during Fridays if there is no conflict of schedule. This activity started last March this year,” Jao stated.
The latest awarding was held on September 2, 2019.
The final awarding will be on December 2019 with cash. The amount will be produced from those who lost in the contest. Sheila A. Rivera
