Davao City – Another preventive mediation case was settled within 21 days in the branch.

This case was filed in this branch by Rose Pharmacy, Inc. Employees Union-Associated Labor Union-Trade Union Congress of the Phil. against Rose Pharmacy, Inc. on October 20, 2016 primarily on the issue of uniform.

The management manifested its effort to address the issues as soon as possible, but they are asking the union an ample time since it is under the new management and transition period.

On November 16, 2016, parties finally agreed on all the items taken.  The management committed to give the 2016 free uniform to employees on or before December 10, 2016.   Likewise, all applications for Pag-ibig loan will be submitted to the person in-charge.  Furthermore,   management committed to issue the corresponding certification to SSS to update the premiums for the remittance year 1979-1984 for the affected workers.  There will also be issuance of identification cards to all employees in Davao City operation on or before March 31, 2017.  Lastly, union will submit the names, addresses and contact numbers of at least three (3) qualified physicians and dentist to the management team.  The professional services of the selected physicians and dentist respectively will start on the 1st quarter of 2017.
